Installed Debian on Vanessa's PC on Friday so I can connect my laptop to
the Internet through her machine, and she's also happy to have a proper
workstation now.  I was surprised that it was fairly easy to get the
WinModem to work.  Sharing a 56k line is quite painful, though.  And the
PPP connection dies when I'm trying to rip a CD.  I wonder if this is
related to the modem being a WinModem.
