Known issues and bugs
Here is a list of known issues and bugs with Debian on the Thecus N2100.
Debian 4.0 (etch) with 2.6.18 kernel
- Disk access is slow because of lack of DMA support for the IOP32x chip.
- There's a bug in the r8169 network driver related to multicast packets
- There's a bug in the r8169 network driver that causes problems with NFS (fixed in 2.6.24).
- The device doesn't correctly power off (fixed in 2.6.24).
- There's no support for the sensor chip to control the fan (fixed in 2.6.24).
- There's no support for the LEDs and beeper (fixed in 2.6.26)
